Applicant Portal

Educational Service Unit 9 welcomes you to the Applicant Portal!

ESU 9 no longer accepts paper applications. The ESU 9 Applicant Portal provides a secure site for interested candidates to search and apply for current employment opportunities as well as substitute positions with ESU 9. Applicants will be required to create a “profile” and “resume” before submitting an application through the Portal.

To search for a job opening with ESU 9, click on the "Job Search" tab at the top of the screen. A profile is not needed to search for open jobs online. A profile only needs to be created if you wish to apply for a job.

To become an active candidate for a position with ESU 9, you must login to the Applicant Portal. First time users must create a username and password and enter basic contact information. To create an account, click the “Sign Up” link and complete the information. After you have created an account, you may complete the application process.

Applicants must create their profile and complete the resume portion before applying for a specific job. Applicants may upload a personal resume or letters of reference to the "My Documents & Letters" area under the "My Resume" tab.

If you have a current paper application on file, you must create a profile online. ESU 9 is not able to transfer the information from your current paper application to the online system. If selected as a qualified candidate, the applicant will be contacted for an interview.

All personally identifiable data items received by ESU 9 as part of the application process will be considered confidential and maintained in a manner that will assure confidentiality.

All items that have a
red bar next to them are required to be completed.
From the Home page --> Documents tab, applicants may download the User's Guide to Applicant Portal for more detailed instructions on how to use the Applicant Portal. In addition, some items may ask for more than one entry. To do so, click on the "+Add New" button. For example, you will be asked for up to five of your previous employers, three references, etc. You will need to "+Add New" for each additional item.

Certificated applicants must complete all mandatory sections of the “resume” and any sections that have “CE” in the section title. Mandatory sections are indicated by a red bar.

To include your college transcripts and credentials, please request that all undergraduate and graduate work be sent to the Educational Service Unit 9, Attention: Human Resources, 5807 Osborne Drive West, Hastings, NE 68901-6443.
